The SOS Community Alert application ("App") is NOT an emergency dispatch service, medical assistance, law enforcement, or professional rescue service.
If you are in danger, call local emergency services immediately (UAE: Police 999, Ambulance 998).
The App does not automatically alert authorities or dispatch emergency services.
The App sends notifications to community platforms (Discord in v1) so members of your chosen group may voluntarily assist. Community members are under no obligation to respond.
The App is a non-professional, community-driven project under active development. Do not rely on it for personal safety.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. We do not warrant accurate crash detection, successful delivery, or that alerts will be seen or acted upon.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BIKER COLLECTIVE, DEVELOPERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, DETECTION FAILURES, MISSED ALERTS, OR RELIANCE ON THE APP INSTEAD OF PROPER EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.
By using the App, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Developers from claims arising from your use or misuse, false alerts, violations of these terms, or disputes with other users.
Use only for genuine situations. False alerts, pranks, and spam may result in revoked access and removal from associated communities.
The App depends on device hardware, battery, GPS, internet, Discord, and member availability. Alerts may fail, delay, or go unseen.
When an alert is sent, approximate location may be shared with your community channel. See the Privacy Policy.
You must meet the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction and have legal capacity to agree to these terms.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
